Seven quiet signs your senior pet needs more support

Aging animals are stoic. By the time discomfort is obvious, it’s often been present for a while. These are the gentle early signals that a little more support would help.

The signs

Hesitating before stairs or jumps. Sleeping in new places. Eating slower or leaving food. Less interest in greetings. Stiffness after rest. Changes in bathroom habits. A quieter, more withdrawn mood.

What helps

None of these mean something is wrong on their own — but together they’re worth attention. Small changes to routine, comfort, and movement can make a real difference. When in doubt, your vet comes first, and gentle in-home support can carry the day-to-day.
